Automatic Ointment Manufacturing Plant
“GMP’s” Ointment Manufacturing Plants process homogenization of semi-solid with liquid components to produce ointments, creams, lotions & gels. There are three different vessels for individual operations connected with each other through pipelines & valves to process as one complete automatic ointment manufacturing plant. Water phase vessel heated the water and wax phase vessel melts the jelly or wax into a liquid state, then the manufacturing vessel performs blending operations of all the available ingredients. Bottom and top entry agitators onto the vessel provided for homogeneous blending. Further high-speed chopper provided at the bottom of the manufacturing vessel for high shear mixing operations. Salient Features: • cGMP production plants. • Minimum human involvement. • Option of PLC, HMI based model. • 21 CFR Part 11 compliant SCADA package available on demand. (optionally) • Almost zero vacuum drop during the mixing and blending process. • Ideal to produce ointments, lotions, gels, creams. • All Contact Parts are in S.S. 316 & Non – Contact Parts are SS 304. • Hydraulic lid lifting arrangement of the main vessel to facilitate cleaning at the time of product changeover. • Variable speed provided for stirrer and homogenizer for different speeds. • All transfer done through vacuum to avoid any hand touch and contamination.
